These are my links for July 12th through July 15th:
- Work/life balance doesn’t mean either/or « Here Comes Later – To me, this begs the bigger question: Should agencies still bill by the hour? I like the idea of billing by performance. Of course, I’m no financial expert and I don’t own my own company, but Ari points out this is way things are going.
- How TO Influence Me – Chris gives a very human list of ways to influence him. Nice job, and great advice.
- Teaching PR: Mistakes student bloggers often make – My favorite point Karen makes is not to quit. Too many times students will quit blogging. Keep it up!
- Public Relations People And Bloggers Can Work Together | davefleet.com – I’m with Dave on this one. I have to wonder if this is all talk. A lot of times PR people an help the blogger in adding value, so this is a situation worth monitoring.
- Fluent: The Razorfish Social Influence Marketing Report Fluent: The Razorfish Social Influence Marketing Report – Looks like an interesting read — I’ll have to check this out.
- 10 things you should cover in your social networking policy – Great list of things to remember for a social media policy. Some very interesting and articulate reminders for when making a SM policy for a company or organization.
- Hirten: Practice what you teach, MSU | lansingstatejournal.com | Lansing State Journal – Some pretty valid points in this article concerning the recent PR debacle MSU is facing. I think ethics are taught as a kid — not in class, but I agree with pretty much everything else.
